What a legend @ugomonye is. New to golf but bringing the competitive fire from his Premiership and International rugby career.
So, when helping a new golfer find the right kit what do we look for?
The goal is always the same for all of our customers: How can we help enjoy golf more, lower scores and this one is massive for professional sports people- How do you beat your mates?
First: we look at how golf swings generate power using the @mizunoeurope #swingDNA system. This quickly helps us pinpoint the right shaft to help clubhead awareness and better contact. Needless to say being an ex Quins and England winger Ugo has speed and power to burn- so in this case the kit needed to be strong, stable and like all new golfers more forgiving.
The goal is to make Ugo’s bad shot closer to his good one this will make his scores tumble. We gave Ugo a couple of swing tips to make things easier from the start, having an understanding of grip and plane will speed up his progress so he can turn on his advantage all that wonderful speed. Make no mistake Ugo will be working with a plan and intent to be ready for the spring.
